Why Frame to Frame?
I am typically a pose-to-pose animator, especially when animating characters. However, hair and clothes typically don't have structured movement-wind is unpredictable and moves lighter objects easier than heavier ones.
Specificity to my Characters
My first character, Marigold, has long and fluffy hair, so I added lots of unscripted movement with the individual locks. My other character, Ambros, has shorter hair, but always wears a tuxedo, so I focused on the movement of his clothes and tie. I added small movement to his "mullet "for realism.
